Condition report

The dial fits well into the hood aperture, just a small amount of the cross hatching is overlaid by the hood

The case:
Many elements are later added - such as the moulded base and parts of the hood.  The hood was in separate pieces and has now been reconstructed.

The pillared glass door to the front of the hood is loose and there is no obvious hinge, but it can slide on, however, there are numerous areas of worm damage. See extra images.

Other losses include a section of moulding to the side of the case. Numerous areas of chips and losses to the paintwork and gilding.

The Dial:

Tarnished chapter ring and surrounds.

The Movement:

One weight. The movement will need to be inspected by a specialist and there is no guarantee of any working order.

See images to indicate what pieces are present.
