Woven in wools and silks, depicting an exotic bird in front of a forested landscape with Classical buildings and mountains beyond, within borders of fruit and foliage, reduced in height, 215cm wide; 245cm high


Condition report: 

The tapestry has been reduced in height as can be seen along the top edge of the main scene and border. 

The foreground elements look to be restored with some later wools. .

The centre of the scene is quite faded and worn. 

Various other areas repaired and later stitched in places.
