The 46.5cm slightly curved steel blade mounted within an undyed shagreen handle, with a pierced tsuba and single seppa decorated with a lion, with a polished shagreen veneered and lacquered wooden saya, overall length 65cm
Condition report;
- Split running down shagreen handle, some losses and replacement fixing pin
- Tsuba is loose and possibly a replacement
- Saya with a few cracks and minor chips and losses otherwise good
- Blade edge chipped at the very end otherwise with areas of dark tarnishing
