With a shaped top above the front flanked by foliate roundels and pilasters, centred with a convex glazed 8 1/2in white-painted dial and pierced blued steel hands, indistintly signed *** Plymouth, a brass inset grille panel to each side, above  a stepped breakfront base, the twin train wire gut fusée movement striking the hour on a bell

CONDITION REPORT
The case is in original condition, with some chips and losses to mouldings.  A veneer loss to the bottom left-hand side.  The dial has some wear and paint loss.  There is also a brass ferrule which sits between the dial and case which is lost.  The movement requires a service.  The bell appears not the the original and its screw is ill-fitting.
