The hood, now lacking its moulded pediment and with a canvas cover, above a glazed circular brass bezel and four foliate spandrels, flanked by a canted angle to each side, the trunk inset with a hinged glazed door, above the base with a moulded outline, on stepped foot; the 13in white-painted dial with sweep minute hand and two subsidiaries, the movement with waisted plates, large wheel work of six crossings, pinned pinions, deadbeat escapement with adjustable jewelled pallets, the escape wheel teeth with remarkable outward flared teeth, beat adjustment to the crutch and brass pulley guide for the weight, wood rod heavy brass pendulum and brass-cased weight

CONDITION REPORT
With wood rod heavy brass bob pendulum, brass-cased weight and a modern brass crank key.  The dial has some paint loss.  The movement appears in good order although perhaps not cleaned recently.


The case as stated has lost its upper moulding, which could be re-instated?  Otherwise in good original condition, some marks and knocks consistent with age.  Two steel case keys.
