The rectangular case with a moulded pediment above a hinged glazed door, above a plain base; the 9 1/2in perspex dial with sweep minutes and subsidaries for seconds and hours, the high-quality movement with wheels of six crossings, with circular backplate and with cocks holding the wheel work, except the centre and hour wheel which are supported by a bridge, deadbeat escapement with maintaining power, micrometer adjustable crutch screw from above, mounted on a white metal plate on the backboard, supporting the pendulum block, with steel rod and cylindrical bob pendulum, brass and copper weight with well pierced pulley block and a crank key

CONDITION REPORT
With weight, pendulum and key.  The regulator appears in good order.  A few marks and scuffs to the case. The mechanism is 8 days.

It is not card backed, but feels as if it is reverse painted?  The divisions and numerals are engraved to the front and then blackened
