Surmounted by a pineapple finial, above a gadrooned chamfer top and moulded cornice, the front with four inset brass-outlined spandrels enclosing the the convex glass and brass bezel, the sides each with a brass carrying handle and silk-backed grille panel, on a stepped base and four ball feet, the 8in convex cream-painted dial detailed Jon Clark, Mark Lane, London, with blued steel spade hands, the twin train wire gut fusée movement with arched plates and strike on a bell, with an associated bracket

46cm high the clock; 70cm high overall
