Cast brass bezel and convex glass, above a 12in white-painted dial and pierced black-painted hands, gut fusée movement with anchor escapement, turned dial surround, with brass-outlined glazed aperture to the trunk, flanked by a carved ‘ear’ to each side

CONDITION REPORT

The dial is in good condition.  Some old repair to splits in the outer dial frame.  The movement has been cleaned and is capable of running. The side door has been repaired and the bottom door with lock is a likely replacement.  Veneer around base door possibly replaced?
