AN UNUSUAL WORCESTER `JAPAN' PATTERN GLOBULAR TEAPOT AND COVER

enamelled with quatrelobed panels enclosing prunus and lotus flowers against an iron-red diaper pattern ground alternating with a blue and gilt `cracked ice' ground, the cover with flower finial, 14.5cm high (2)

The teapot in overall good condition with minor wear to the enamels and some specking to the glaze around the spout. 
The cover with two consolidated cracks to the rim and flange and a repair around the flange. Restoration to one petal on the finial and minor nicks around its edges
