Half title, 7 plates by William Nicholson, illustrations (some very light mainly marginal spotting and staining, a few darker spots). Original cream pictorial buckram, pictorial endpapers (light stained, corners bumped, light rectangular stains to the endpapers), dust-jacket by William Nicholson with price of 21s. unclipped (small pieces torn away from the head of the backstrip, some light fraying and rubbing at the edges). FIRST ILLUSTRATED EDITION.
