A FINE COPY OF THE FIRST U.K. EDITION, PRESENTATION COPY, inscribed on the front free endpaper, "To Dave - be well, Stephen King, 5/14/83." "Stephen King needs little introduction, for he is today's leading horror book writer. The recipient of this presentation copy was David Baldock who worked for the "Forbidden Planet" bookshop in London for many years and was well-known to the writers who launched their books there throughout the 1970s and into the early 1990s.
