Half title, wood-engraved frontispiece and 3 plates by John Leech (frontispiece spotted, title lightly browned). Attractively bound in 19th-century full red morocco gilt by Riviere, the covers with triple gilt fillet borders, the spine with a green morocco lettering-piece in one compartment and the five other compartments elaborately decorated in gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt edges (corners very lightly rubbed), with the original wrappers, printed in green, bound in at the end. Provenance: John [?]Parkin (old signature on the upper original wrapper).
