Title printed in orange and black, 19 plates by Ernest Thompson Seton, illustrations (some faint marginal browning). FINELY BOUND in contemporary full crushed magenta morocco gilt by Bumpus, the covers with gilt floral cornerpieces and triple gilt fillet borders, the upper cover with the words "My Lambkin" stamped in gilt within a central laurel, the spine with five compartments with elaborate floral motifs stamped in gilt, the sixth containing the title and author, gilt edges (a few very faint ink spots, endpapers lightly browned and spotted). Provenance: "Janet Sydney Ronald Keep, Xmas 1906" (stamped in gilt on upper dentelles); Dorset County Library (stamp on title).
