London: Sampson Low, Son, and Marston, 1867. 4to (229 x 165mm). Additional ornamental title page and decorative borders throughout engraved by R. B. Utting after Henry Shaw, headpieces, 19 wood-engraved plates by Orrin Smith, H. Harral, W. J. Linton and others. FINELY BOUND in red crushed morocco gilt by Bain, covers with gilt foliate cornerpieces and small central oval decoration, spine elaborately gilt with 5 raised bands, gilt edges. Provenance: Robert J. Hayhurst (bookplate); Miss Farrar (very small signature on front free endpaper dated Sept. 18, 1882); A. G. Quibell (old calligraphic signature on the same endpaper).
