Attractively bound in modern tan pigskin lettered in gilt, spine with 5 raised bands, gilt edges. NUMBER 441 OF 750 COPIES. A facsimile of the 1540 edition of Apian's celebrated treatise on Ptolemaic astronomy, with working volvelles. Without Diedrich Wattenburg's accompanying volume of explanatory text.
