Original pictorial vellum gilt, top edges gilt, others uncut (gilt lettering a little faded on the spine, lacks ties). Although this copy - unusually for a vellum-bound edition - has no statement of limitation and is not signed by Arthur Rackham, it has a printed statement on the verso of one of the the half titles which reads: "Exemplaire Reserve a Madame Gabrielle Reval." With 5 other works in 6 volumes, namely William Makepiece Thackeray's The Newcomes (London, 1854, 2 vols., illustrations by Richard Doyle, attractively bound in later full blue polished calf gilt, FIRST EDITION), Select Letters of Percy Bysshe Shelley.
