Biblia Hebraica, ex aliquot manuscriptis et compluribus impressis codicibus, edited by Johann Heinrich Michaelis. Magdeburg: Typis et sumtibus[sic] Orphanotrophea, 1720. 2 parts bound in one volume, large 8vo (228 x 140mm). Engraved frontispiece, title printed in red and black with engraved illustration, woodcut headpieces, text in Hebrew and Latin (some spotting, staining and browning). Contemporary [?or possibly earlier] elaborately blindstamped vellum over boards, red edges (rubbed and scuffed). Provenance: old Latin inscription at head of front free endpaper; from the Collection of the late Dr Elkan Lewis (1931-2020).  Darlow and Moule 5144; Kayserling p. 74; Macías 65.
