A folded sheet of printed staves with manuscript quotations in the composer's hand from the first 7 of his string quartets, inscribed, "à mon cher éditor ami Monsieur [?]Hertzka. Souvenir de Darius Milhaud Oct. 1925"; with a printed score of Milhaud's "Concerto pour Violoncelle et Piano" inscribed by the composer to Pierre Fournier; another heavily marked-up score for the same work; together with a manuscript list of the composer's works in his own hand. Provenance: from the Collection of the late Dr Elkan Lewis (1931-2020). (4)
