The first with brass frame inset with four tiles painted with scenes after illustrations by Randoph Caldecott from Oliver Goldsmith's `An Elegy of the Death of a Mad Dog', 22cm high; also a Mintons earthenware planter, printed after tile designs by John Moyr Smith with scenes from the Waverly series illustrating the novels of Sir Walter Scott, 27cm high
