G.BISSINGER: A 19TH CENTURY SARDONYX, DIAMOND AND CULTURED PEARL PENDANT BROOCH, CIRCA 1880

The centre set with a carved sardonyx cameo depicting a young girl and a cherub, in a pierced gold frame set with rose cut and old mine cut diamonds (some lacking) and suspended cultured pearl drops, the reverse with a glazed compartment and the back of the cameo signed G Bissinger, drop length 8.2cm, weight 20.5g, in a fitted Howell James & Co case.

Condition report: Cameo in good condition, four tiny diamonds missing, some lead solder repairs to the bar link drop hoops, general age related wear, box shows wear commensurate with age. 

No visible marks, except cameo is signed.
