A MATCHED PAIR OF 18TH CENTURY DUTCH CARVED WALNUT SIDE CHAIRS (2)

Condition report: 

Slight differences in carving, noted in the details of the crest, legs and cloven feet. 

Overall in good condition but with the  inevitable scuffs, scratches, dents, small chips and marks commensurate with wear, use and age.

The seats with later upholstery and the caning replaced with board. The back seats caning with the odd hole. 

Some later restrengthening and pegging to the back of legs of one with minor traces of worm. Missing chunk to one stretcher of the same chair and slight shrinkage to the joints of the stretcher.
