Condition report:
There is some warp to the top right side door, as can be seen from images on www.bellmans.co.uk and as a consequence the door doesn’t shut correctly. Further shrinkage splits in areas, to the lower right door, cornice and bottom section sides.
The iron locks are present, but no key.
Some reinforcement sections of timber used - as can be seen in some of the extra images.
Old worm holes evident.
Paintwork is worn, chipped and scuffed.
Backboards appear to be original to the piece.
As stated, this is early 19th but with later paint.
