A GEORGE III MAHOGANY BUREAU BOOKCASE

Condition report: 

Various losses, chips, shrinkage and wear commensurate with use and age. 

The top section with a broken glass to one of the sections at the top right side. 

The fall front with a horizontal shrinkage crack, loss to the left corner, further light shrinkage to the sides of the base. Veneer loss to the right of the fall. 

Repair to the fall front at the top right and bottom left corners. Replacement back bracket foot

Locks present. The drawers don’t run particularly smoothly with various shrinkage splits to the linings. 

The top and bottom are possibly associated.
