Painted with lotus flowers inside barbed panels, the mounts engraved with foliate scrollwork, 24cm high to top of handle, indistinct stamps to silver including the letter R (2)

Edo period, early 18th century
The exterior painted with figures in a landscape setting, the interior with a panel of three figures and a buffalo, beneath a karakusa border and brown edged barbed rim, fuku mark to base, 19.5cm diameter

20th century
White enamelled Jingdezhen Zhi mark, 13.5cm high

Possibly late 18th century
37 leaves of black script with purple highlights, the endpaper possibly bearing a date, floral boards, 23.5cm by 18cm 6428

Probably Han dynasty
The rider seated with hands raised as if to hold the reins, the horse standing four square on a rectangular base, traces of red and black pigments, 36cm high. With Certificate of Antiquity from the Hong Kong Art Craft Merchants Association Limited, dated 1997.

Kangxi
Modelled as a lotus pod, glazed in green and aubergine, 11.5cm length

Probably modern
14cm high, wood stand; also a Chinese blue glazed ovoid vase, 11cm high, wood stand (4)

Meiji period
One of square section, variously painted in typical palette with subjects including phoenix and flowers, one vase with a gilt dragon encircling the neck, each signed, sizes 8.5cm to 9.75cm (3)

Six character Guangxu marks and probably of the period
Painted on the exterior with pine, prunus and bamboo, the interior with a ruyi cloud medallion, 17cm diameter (2)

The god of war seated in flowing robes, wearing a tied cap with two braids, indistinct impressed square mark to reverse, 21cm high

Early 19th century
Of octagonal form, raised on four paw feet, the cover gilt and painted with a figurative panel around a crest, framed by pairs of dragons chasing flaming pearls, the border and sides with further figurative panels, the interior with seven lidded compartments and twelve trays and including approx. 168 mother of pearl counters of two types each with the same bird crest, 38cm wide by 30.5cm deep

Each painted with two buffalo beside plantain, flowers and rocks, 36cm diameter (2) 6941
