Condition report:

Good overall condition considering age and use.

Construction typical of the period and composed in two sections.

Some inevitable wear, marks and scuffs in areas overall and to notable to the top, also with light shrinkage to timber. Further shrinkage to the timbers below and more evident to the panelled doors, including the left side door.

Repair required to splits / tears to right side of the two internal drawers. Further shrinkage crack along the left bottom edge of the top drawer.

Wear / oxidization to the ring pull metal handles.

Five elements of moulding are loose and present.

Plugged marks from previous handles.

Left side hinge a more obvious replacement.

Lock plate but no key.

A few old worm holes apparent to the bottom boards.

Feet probably good replacements and stylistically consistent, some small wear.
