The guard applied with a bugle device of a light infantry regiment, crowned pommel, leather and gilt metal scabbard. the locket engraved 'Tatham Charing Crofs', overall length 101.5cm

Condition report:

- Blade very rusty with no sign of any previous etched decoration
- Leather scabbard is perished and detached from the gilt metal locket
- Loss of gilt plating throughout
