Frank L. Turgeon Jr, was a society portrait photographer who worked for Hollywood during the late 1930s, developing the technology and skills to promote himself as a photographer of "landscapes and personalities in natural color" in 1939. He counted the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, together with John F. Kennedy among his list of celebrated clients, operating numerous studios across the USA, including Palm Beach during the winter months.
