The pencil of ribbed cylindrical form, engraved 'S MORDAN & CO.s PATENT', length extended 12.3cm, together with five quill pens of various materials such as tortoiseshell and bone, to include a George V silver and mother-of-pearl example by Villiers & Jackson, Chester 1911, length 15.8cm

Condition report:

- Propelling pencil, the slide action is working well, unsure as to whether the propelling mechanism is working as there is no lead in the pencil, general wear and tarnishing

- Quill pens in good condition
