The front part of the bracelet on one side at the top of the right hand leg is bent inwards.  Looks to be as made with no alterations or added fittings. Underneath the bracelet is a twin pronged fitting which holds the linkage in place.  One square cut ruby is chipped. Slight variation of colour of rubies, another ruby which looks to be a replacement on the tail is chipped at one corner. The diamonds appear to slightly draw colour and have one or two internal inclusions. Carat weight of gemstones unknown. Length of bracelet 16cm. Note that the bracelet will not lie perfectly flat. The discolouration to the links on the tail section is only on the outside rather than the inside, it appears to be a discolouration of the metal rather than surface dirt, we cannot be sure how easily this could be cleaned off. The overall quality of the bracelet is rather basic. There is no box for the bracelet.

It has been suggested that the brooch fitting could accomodate wearing when positioned on the shoulder. The fitting does allow for this althought it is not clear that this was the intended function.
