Compass needle appears to function, compass dial good condition.
Mercury thermometer: glass complete and appears to function.
Barometer: upon placing in plastic bag full of air and applying pressure the needle will move. We would not guarantee the accuracy of the instrument . The barometer is not perfectly centred in its case. We note that the milled glazed front casing is raised up at the edge and appears not to be properly soldered into position. It will move up and down upon applying gentle pressure with the thumb. On the dial of the barometer in certain lights, there is a slight loss of matt finish just above the 'IR' of the word 'FAIR'.
Exterior of case: apart from slight surface scuffs no significant dents. Hinge to case good condition. Length of case 6.7cm.
