Each chair is stamped to the back rail with the maker’s name.
One has the remains of a label for Crews & Sons, Exmouth.
Old worm to some of the rails, but of little impact. Some traces of glue where joints have been strengthened. Overall the joints are very sturdy, particularly between the back and seat. Repolished at some point.
Wear, scuffs and scratches and some losses to the feet, edges and general areas of exposure.
Reupholstered at some point.
In good, functional order.
