Condition report:
Various scuffs, scratches, chips, knocks and marks commensurate with age and use.
A more recent thin scratch to the second drawer. An old dent to the top right of the desk top.
Some looses to the crossbanding of the fall front and shrinkage cracks to veneers in areas.
Dryness of timber to one side, with minor vertical movement to timber.
Missing handles to the pull out side runners.
Later handles and escutcheon mounts
Lacking leather writing surface to the inside of the fall.
Back boards with numerous shrinks, splits and losses, repairs to backs of feet. Some areas of minor worm hole damage. Shrinkage movement to drawer linings.
