Condition report:

Please see www.bellmans.co.uk for additional photographs.

Various later associated parts.

The table is not stable when fully extend as it is missing the two adjoining screws to secure the pulled out rails. The brass fitments to receive the screws are later.

The four leaves are more than likely associations with different pegs and tennons and does not easily slot together. Two are more than likely later, with slightly different grain and slightly lighter in weight. The leaves and ends could have also been trimmed down around the edges. One with a patch over the clip and split.

Please see additional photographs on www.bellmans.co.uk  with a different  added.

There are only five clips with this lot.

Various scuffs and scratches overall to the leaves, the D ends a little more worn. Various chips to edges, some to the gadrooned edges. Some shrinkage to timber with related cracks in areas and lifting to the veneers in places.

The side rails are loose and it has not been possible to fit them as they are missing screws to secure them to the underside. They look like they could fit but there are now holes underneath the table to indicate where they have fitted previously. The rails also look a little later in contrast to other parts of the table.

There are ten legs with no obvious signs of missing legs.
