AN EXTREMELY RARE GENTLEMAN'S SIZE 18CT GOLD CARTIER "LOSANGE" MANUAL WIND WRISTWATCH

Circa 1971. Movement: 17 jewel, manual wind, signed LeCoultre Co. cal. 845. The case hallmarked for London 1971 (date letter q) with maker's mark JC, and of elongated octagonal curved form, cream dial with Roman numerals at 12 and 6 o'clock, sapphire winding crown, leather strap with 18ct gold buckle bearing import hallmarks for London 1974, with maker's mark JC. Case measurements excluding crown: 39mm x 20mm.

Movement is currently running, dial showing signs of age and losses (see images), case with surface scratches and age related wear, case back numbered 9806, sapphire winding crown in good condition, strap with age related wear.
