A French bronze patinated and painted-metal mounted 'Devil band' mantel clock, late 19th century, modelled with the devil astride the drum case, supported on a naturalistic cross stretcher and shaped base with two griffin cast feet. The drum enclosing a two train movement with countwheel and hammer striking on a bell, 47cm high (key & pendulum)
