Bidding ended. Lot has been sold.

An 18ct gold, red spinel and diamond ring, collet set with the oval cut red spinel to the centre, between circular cut, diamond set six stone shoulders, otherwise with ropetwist applied decoration, detailed JFK 750, ring size P, gross weight 26.3 gms.

There is a surface scratch to the table facet of the red spinel, one or two worn points where facet edges meet, the diamonds are attractive white stones, with one or two internal inclusions, would benefit from professional cleaning, JFK refers to the maker's mark.  We do not know who that is. Slight wear to the culet point of the red spinel.  There are two or three nicks to the edge of the gold setting of the red spinel, otherwise minor surface wear to the ring.  It is not possible to show an image of the hallmarks because of where they are positioned.

Spinel length 10.9mm; width 9.5mm; depth approx 6.5mm. Colour is fairly subdued, needs a clean.
