A late George II silver cake basket of oval form, pierced with cross hatched decoration within a cable border, raised on a pierced oval foot, engraved with a coat of arms and a motto, with a tapered pierced swingover handle, length 32cm, weight 777 gms, London 1753, maker's mark. S.H B.
Condition report:
- Rim of basket somewhat bent/misshapen
- Evidence of old solder repairs to the underside of the rope-work border
