A Meissen group of vintners, late 19th century, modelled with girl seated on the back of a goat, a boy standing beside before a hod of grapes and playing a pipe, blue crossed swords mark incised G.93, (a.f), 15cm. high; also a Meissen figure of a youth playing the lute, late 19th century, (a.f), 15 cm. high, (2).
Vintner group- extensive restoration, including; the girl's neck and shoulders, both hands and to grapes in hands; to the goat's horns and ears and its legs; to the boy's hat, right arm, both hands, pipe, right knee and foot; restoration around base of hod, restored through base; some restoration and chips to leaves.
Lute player- restoration to left arm, both hands, to lute, to edge of jacket and to end of yellow sash.
