A Meissen group of lovers, 20th century, after J.J Kaendler, modelled as a gallant and companion seated in an embrace with a pug dog standing up between them, blue crossed swords mark, incised 778, impressed 29Y, (a.f), 12cm. high.
Extensive restoration, to include; his neck, fingers, cuff on his left hand, his coat, his sword, his left shoe, to her right arm and hand, to the dog, the back of the base, the vase on the base.
