An early Doulton faience vase by Mary Butterton, dated 1877, of pear shape with slightly flared neck, painted with flowers and berries against a black ground, impressed factory mark, painted artist’s signature, (a.f), 36cm. high. 

restoration to top of neck and to rim. Vertical crack running from base of neck downwards, approx.. 13cm. length.
