A Meissen outside decorated group emblematic of War, late 19th century, modelled as two putti with martial trophies, one wearing a helmet, the other playing a drum, blue cancelled crossed swords mark, incised C40, (a.f), 15cm. high.
Restoration through standing putto's neck. Right drumstick missing above hand. Left drumstick has been restored. Restoration to top of drum. Restoration to leaves. Restoration to seated putto's helmet and to his toes of left foot. Restoration to each end of the rolled mat on base. Restored through base.
